: Ah and since 08 I’ve built and maintained Behave: Visual AI designer (BT, Utility, Blackboard), compiler, and runtime remote debugger.

Initially specific - later engine agnostic with multiple compilers and standalone IDE.

Lots of discussion topics in there like:
- Architecture
- UI
- Codegen
- Serialisation
- Debugging
- Lockless high-throughout multithreading because OMG user code interface + network streaming of state & events

? I’m terrible at opening analogue books, but when I do it is usually Essential Mathematics For Games & Interactive Applications (Van Verth).

I also really enjoyed The Writers Journey (Vogler).

By far my greatest source of nonfiction reading is a ton of articles and whitepapers on my Instapaper account.

Highest traffic reading is sci-fi from iBooks and stuff from ComiXology.
