Remember when Unity self destructed with the whole run-time fee and all their competitors dunked on them?
Well... it's Adobe's turn.
Affinity have announced a 50% off Flash sale on their Adobe-alternative software Affinity.

@GameFromScratch Don’t skip that Affinity recently bought by Canva and #enshittification is imminent.
@ugurcan It's covered.
@GameFromScratch Krita has saved me from Adobe's grasp, and I am eternally grateful!
@GameFromScratch Wow. So much cheaper than Adobe also. Tempting. Need a good replacement for Acrobat too, though. Suggestions?
@GameFromScratch Thanks for posting this. Looks nice. The one question that I can't find answered: Can Affinity Designer read Adobe Illustrator files? (For me it would be nearly useless if it can't. But wait, there's a free trial, too!)
@GameFromScratch Been using Affinity since Photo v1 launched, and folks need to be aware that there are some real blind spots in Serif’s ideas for how apps should work.
- Affinity Photo doesn’t let you see mask effects while editing a vector mask.
- Affinity Publisher has no concept of document-wide layers.
- The tools palette isn’t included in Studio Preset for arranging palettes on screen(s).
- You can’t work on more than one document on screen at a time.
