On Monday we did some gear maintenance for our club. I finally got started on a project 2 years in the waiting to sew a new bag pack for the Pompfen that can fit them all (the longest are 2m), using an old, worn out and now sliced open and gutted hiking backpack and a ripped kite. Immersed in laying out the stitches, just grabbing 3 rolls of tape at random from ye ol' bag of holding I went:

Wait a sec! This doesn't seeeeem particularly random...

A sewing machine in the left background, a clear plastic bag of handicraft stuff including different colored rubber tapes in the middle, a hand in front holding 3 rolls: 1 blue, 1 purple, 1 red- magenta -ish. To the right is a thermos bottle with the Bisexual Pride flag on it using those tapes.
Two hiking backpacks lying side by side, one whole and with Jugger Pompfen sticking out the top. Said Pompfen being fencing equipment of fiberglass cores, padded with red and blue pool noodles taped with clear Spinnaker tape and foam tips wrapped in black gaffa tape. The other back being sliced open along the front with a tube of red and blue canvas material placed inside it and extending up to match the entire length of the Pompfen in the other bag. Meaning this bag, once finished can fit all of them without anything sticking out.
