I like when languages double up a word to give it emphasis or a new meaning. Like कभी - कभी (kabhi kabhi) in Hindi for "sometimes", or थोड़ी - थोड़ी (thodi thodi) for a little bit, like "mujhe ko thodi thodi Hindi samajhati hoon" (I understand a little bit of Hindi).
@Moosader For what it's worth, कभी - कभी is also a song, which I now have stuck in my head. :D
@Moosader Instead of "mujhe ko", you can simply replace it with "mujhe" which would be lot more accurate 
@Moosader Forgot to mention, you can also replace "samajhati hoon" with samajh aati hai". The full sentence will become "mujhe thodi thodi hindi samajh ati hai". 
Or you can even turn it into
"Mai thoda thoda hindi samajhti hoon"

Btw the Hindi sentence "mujhko thodi thodi hindi samajhti hai"
Muhje ko would be wrong Grammer.
Also hoon is "am". Hai would be the correct word here.
Also I love when we double up words too. Indians even do it with English words like "something something ".
Or when you change up the second word like "English Vinglish" or "choti moti".
