Hey all, I'm looking for a new day job!
I'm looking for something in the embedded space, ideally where both SW and HW work is done!
I'm a generalist with about 10y experience and work as a dev lead atm.
A friendly and healthy team/company culture are important to me. Remote only.

Crude initial test of the slime enemy. In the future it'll grow towards the player. Still figuring out how I'm going to test proximity between a slime and a player.

Mfw it's possible to have placement new operator for every type "out of the box". Is this even correct? I mean, it compiles, runs and seems to behave correctly, but... that can also happen when undefined behavior is present.

Afternoon mograph/vfx. Revisiting some effects from my logo animation today. I'm creating the lightning a little differently here, and it's definitely more flickery. My electricity effects are always a work in progress. Plus some other assorted displacements, totally pointless vector rotations, and some volumetric haze for kicks.

Started a small project with a friend to gain some experience with C++ (since I have barely any). Am I doing it right?

Fired up my old crappy gpu raytracer. Fixed a few issues with it (mostly reverted a big change I didn't finish that wasn't going to work anyway, changed some uniform buffers to shader storage buffers). It's tempting to resume working on this. I wonder how would this perform with some sort of acceleration structure...

Took a look at gamedev.place's CoC and that left me wondering... should I create another account to post about OS stuff? Or maybe move to another instance? I wasn't tinkering with that when I first created this account, so that's why I'm asking.
