Dismantling myths about Universal Basic Income one fact at a time:
UBI isn't about giving money to do nothing. It's about money to do ANYTHING. This is in stark contrast to traditional welfare benefits that require people to keep their incomes sufficiently low to keep getting it.
@scottsantens UBI stimulates the economy, not so paradoxically augments employment rate, and is a humane and ethical thing to do.
I hate couching it in the first two frames but denuding capitalists (who seek power & subjugation through imposed despair on the vulnerable) of their sophistry is necessary.

@oblomov @hannu_ikonen @scottsantens and as we have seen with the "inflation" we have been experiencing, there are people with the ability to raise prices without suffering in order to soak up every free penny.

Probably solvable but it definitely complicates things
