This is a really good post on how Campo Santo created the hair for Zora, their black character in Valley of Gods. I really like that it talks about the cultural implications and not just technical
@chemikhazi it's really nice to hear a story of a studio really caring about something like this, even though it costs money and engineering time to do so.
It would have been very easy to just change the character to one with hair that was easier to work with.
Regardless of whether it's a cultural issue, or simply artistic vision that wasn't compromised (which, in our industry, isn't so simple), it's inspiring to see.
