I just tried out ... And it's working surprisingly well and stable for me.

I thinking about making mini vlogs and tutorials for this format. I hope federation starts soon so that the whole can access the content there.

What are your thoughts about this?

@feyter I also tried it and feels like a healthier TikTok? Wouldn't mind sharing gamedevs things there. But I'm not used to record in a vertical format!

@playmedusa this vertical format will be a challenge indeed 😅

But limitation was/is in many cases a driver for innovation, especially in gamedev. So I'm curious to play around with screen size and video length limitations 🙂

@feyter that's the thing, it works great for mobile games. For wide pc games you have to either leave a lot of space unused or fill it somehow, or cut a lot of the screen :'(

@feyter that would be awesome, the more content the better. I'm also thinking of making informative content on loops

@feyter What do you mean by federation? Are we talking about federate loops with more servers in the fediverse or is it a new proyect? 👀

@pepev_nrt I mean it in the sense in with the exist? 😅

Loops is using activity pub to my knowledge. So federating and getting access to the content of the for now only loops server from other platforms (like mastodon) or other loops or loops-like instances would be nice.

I think this side gives all the relevant information:
loops.video/help-center/federa

loops.videoLoops

@we_are_spc well ... This is loops.video/

A short video based social network that is built around activity pub protocol. By @dansup the guy who made

loops.videoLoops by PixelfedLoops, explore and share short videos on the fediverse. Available soon!
