Reminder: A company's real product is their Quarterly Report. What they make or service they provide is just collateral damage.

P.S. Eat the Rich

@grumpygamer but cook them before, they're full of salmonella and stuff

@grumpygamer I demand, that the Forbes list of the richest people will not only contain their wealth but also their nutrition values, cooking times and some delicious recipe suggestions… And it should not be called Forbes list but just: "The Menu" #eattherich

@grumpygamer I'm guessing you'll want marinade for that.

@grumpygamer

Yes. This. I was just trying to make this point in a conversation a few days ago.

You have stated it more clearly then I was able to however.

Thank you.

@grumpygamer This is not true for private companies & small entities not listed on public stock exchanges.

@grumpygamer

Not enough ketchup in the world to make the rich taste good enough to eat.

@grumpygamer this might be the most succinct explanation I've read and it's dead on.

@grumpygamer it certainly has been that way. Or, if a small company creates something truly useful, and cherished by large communities, a large corp will buy them out, scuttle their product or service, and stop providing the useful thing. But originally...before this capitalist hellscape, the product or service was the point, not the line go up. Human enginuity is incredible, I wish it would stop getting stifled by the destructive reflex of capitalism.
