Hi, welcome! First thing you should know is, fedi is not exactly equal to Twitter - thankfully! So keep an open mind and allow yourself some time to adapt.

Don't just join the biggest instances (i.e.,; their size creates *many* problems. But don't stress too much over picking a instance, you can easily migrate to another later. And you can follow people from any instance - it's more like e-mail or RSS than twitter in this regard.

It's going to be a real low-key event, just getting a feel for what folks are into, experience levels, etc. Hopefully a good starting point that shapes future BGS Godot meetups.

Cool to see the hardest part about getting audio working in my little VR project was wrestling with pulseaudio and sending output to my Index instead of my headphones.

contributors are thrilled and delighted to release our newest major update, Godot 3.2, after 10 months of work by 450 contributors!
