@voadi I recently discovered your game and both me and my SO thought it was hilarious. 🤣

I'm sure you'll follow up with the sequel, "But my ancestors protein was a B12 lion"

I'm more of a vector art person but I do dabble in pixel art a bit so I'd like to contribute if I can. Are there in graphics in particular you're in need of at the moment?

Folks I don't know how many of you know Greg @G_Dog1985 he has been a essential part of LR since the beginning and is still the person who does all the maintenance to the server to keep us updated and secure.

He has unfortunately fell on some difficult times. He has had cancer for sometime and his grandpa is also ill and cannot work leaving it all on the shoulders of his mother to support the house. If you have any pocket change to share here is a good cause

@Jordi_Tell How have you been finding your pocketbook ereader? Happy with the purchase so far?

Dreams often don’t make sense. And I don’t just mean as in being exceedingly silly or weird. I mean as in a sentence that has been scrambled eggs and put the glass over the frozen lid.

Part of our mission is to help end Privacy Nihilism, which is the notion that there is nothing we can do to protect our privacy - that it's too big to handle - that there is no hope and no way to recover from our surveillance culture.

It's not too big.
There is hope.
Ways exist.

Great interview from @linuxforeveryone with Zapa of Bearded Giant Games, who is doing all his dev on and making it the first priority for releases: linuxforeveryone.fireside.fm/3

Just bought his new game Space Mercs, DRM free: store.steampowered.com/app/108

Super stoked about finally getting my first properly successful install up and running. Made it beautiful thanks to the stunning artwork of @sylvia_ritter, the desktop environment, and the Sweet KDE theme.

Sylvia's work is amazing, and all done with the brilliant application .

As a result of my experiment I've already made some changes. I've switched to lite as my default search, and now instead of using GitLab, as I do now, I plan to self host future projects via on .

I feel it helps to make my personal infrastructure more resilient to change in the future if the service providers it depends on are diversified.

Well this was very illuminating. After about a full day's use, Cloud Firewall blocked over 7000 connections all coming just from 5 providers. By far the highest count was , with over 6000.

I found that over half the sites I tried to visit would not load at all unless I added exceptions, and some loaded but with broken elements.

It seems to me it's not healthy for the to have a single company controlling this much. They may be benevolent now, but what about the future?

@omnipotens Hi Michael, I'd really love to join your instance but I haven't been able to get a confirmation email to come through. Have tried a few times and checked spam. Just wanted to see if there was anything I can do to follow up?

So this is really interesting, trying a Firefox plugin called Cloud Firewall you can use to block all connections to Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft and Cloudflare.

So far I learned , my favourite search engine, is hosted on but and aren't.

Confirmed when you watch videos via invidio.us/ there is no connection to Google

Found that LBRY web version is currently hosted on Amazon as well.

Super interesting.
