Anybody ever had their unity game trigger antivirus software? Latest build of our game has triggered multiple AV vendors with false positives. Running on Unity 2017.2.0f3

@rje Wasn't a Unity game but a game on our in-house engine at a previous job had that issue. We were using virustotal.com to see which software tools were flagging us, and had to contact them to get us whitelisted, IIRC.

@emanuel Thanks! Yeah I found virustotal over the weekend, very handy. Such a mess to submit false positives to some of these companies...

@rje I would reach out to Unity first to see if there is anything they are aware of, then fall back to manually fixing if needed :(

@rje Not a real fix, but if you can work with some of your players with the problem, see if a build without a custom icon gets past the AV trigger.

@rje Unity has to periodically submit "Hey, I'm still not a virus!" to all the major antivirus vendors.
AV software hates JITting.

@rje I'm assuming your game doesn't rely on buffer overflows for game logic? :P
