Oh look a free library for #light sources for #3D artists, I discovered only now. This makes life easier of course and the IGS lamps can be baked in #Blender so you can use them in #Godot as well or you build them there manually 🔦 🎨
Then I can go further and write additional shaders and update my #DevLog.
I'm so taken with the #RG3D game engine right now that I'm seriously considering leaving @godotengine behind ⚙️ I know that RG3D is in an early stage of #development, but on the other hand it already has a lot of #features 🦀 What do you think and yes I know this depends on the project but both are universal #gameengines 🎮 What do you think? 🤖
I'll learn and play around with the #Materialmaker and see what I can do. The #opensource #software is based on the #Godot engine and helps you to create the different #shader #material's in a simplified way.
As it looks, I decided to use the @godotengine for this project, because there is still too much unclear about #Bevy (it's only version 0.5) and it would result in a lot of extra work. The Bevy #developer's even advise to use Godot if it should be an ambitious #project 🎮
