Always impressed by how misleading mainstream coverage of tech is.

So that would be the same type of ray tracing as in the $350 RTX 2060, which is somewhat cheaper than $10k. I know this sort of exclusive reveal is going to spin stuff but that's pretty dishonest.

Sony's next console is, from the high level description, sounding basically where the safe money has always been speculating. Glad they're pushing the SSD hard (as long as MS do too, we can start to see consoles with PC-esque loading times & also AAA optimising loading code for fast SSDs)

@shivoa based just on expected price point, perf is probably going to be lower than a 2060, though. And AMD hasn't shipped raytracing yet, so we'll have to wait and see what the perf characteristics of RT on Navi are
