Donated a couple of board games to a local charity shop, came back with 2 new ones. Balance is restored
They had a fair number of “board gamers games”, I should go more often to see what they have. I thought about the copy of Great Western Trail they had because I know it’s well reviewed, but stuck with a couple of classics I never got around to trying: Splendor and 7 Wonders. Our group tends to prefer shorter games these days
Oooh these weighted poker chips in Splendor are really nice, I do not regret spending a tenner on that. Apart from normal unavoidable box scuffs everything is complete & in good order, nice to see. Proper board gamers looked after this stuff (as we did with our donations)
@sinbad I was not so successful on my last trip to the computer thrift store. Brought some parts to donate and came home with a PowerBook G4. >_<
