Implementing annotations in GDScript is a bit more complicated than I thought.
Still think it's worth it though.
@vnen are you talking about type annotations? Speaking of which, I wonder if with the new rewrite GDscript will get to have some of the missing type annotations it'd need (like function return types or dictionaries - that is, unless they already added them and I missed some update :P)

You can already define a function return types.
For dictionaries, I'm not sure what you mean. In 4.0 you can give a type to the key and value, but if you want to specify a structure it's not possible.
