To prepare for the new show, I played 1 and 2 for the first time since I was a kid. It was alright.

First game had the more memorable characters, and second had much better controls and maps. I played as the dude on the cover with the giant wheels - it was a trip. The physics on the car were impressive

My go to demolition derby style game back in the day was Star Wars Demolition tho, that was really the full package.

Especially was surprised to experience the default control scheme of the first one,
Forgot how controls for that sort of game had no "standard" yet at the time 🤔
