I rarely play games right when they are out, either because I cannot afford them or because I need to wait for a PC port. This time, I missed the release because I'm not watching as much gaming news as I used to but then stumbled upon #ShadowGambit at #Gamescom. So there's three factors that will help Mimimi sell the game to me: The game was presented at a faire, they were available to talk to and they provide a demo of the game on Steam. #marketing
Interestingly, the person I talked to compared the game not to one of their own games but to Commandos, which is way older, even though their own games received just as good reviews according to Metacritic.
