Having a debate with a friend about the type of shoes Faith wears in the original Mirror's Edge. He has a point that the shoes do have an odd form but I don't agree that that is because one or more of the toes are separate. I'm not sure what it is though.

@wildrikku the big toe portion looks very narrow. I would expect that curve from side of foot to big toe to push out a little more and the top of the toe to be squared off a little more.
It also falls off too fast on the left side for my foot. But it could all be variations in foot shape or implied tightness, e.g. like a rock climbing shoe
Yeah, the left side seems more worrying to me. They are probably supposed to be a really tight fit since they're for a combination of running and parcours. Might actually be inspired by climbing shoes, I own some and they are REALLY tight especially in the toe section because they are supposed to help you stand on your toes. They're probably not good for running though. Ah well. Artistic freedom it is. :D

@JaN0h4ck Yeah I am really not sure if that makes any sense... :D The idea might be to make them a hybrid with climbing shoes.
