I’ll write up a full “news from Mysterium” post tomorrow, but this is the hot news:

The Video Game History Foundation got permission to digitize about *100 hours* of videotapes from Cyan’s vault. Behind-the-scenes video from the 1990s, when Cyan was producing Riven and just starting to think about Uru.

They’re about halfway through digitizing, and hope to open the collection by the end of the year. Everything will be viewable.

The fan reaction at Mysterium was just astronomical. We were watching blooper takes and behind-the-scenes clowning from Riven’s production which have never been seen in public, ever.
