The argument goes: we already paid up, why should we now subsidize those who didn't.

Which doesn't account for:
1. Further funds to what we legitimately need but didn't budget for
2. Revenue to local industry, which we certainly have #patria #nemo #8x8 #nammo #sako

Update on my attempts to make #captions work for #Jitsi:

I've heard back from the following re: no plans to support Jitsi Meet: #OtterPilot, #MeetingBaas, #ReductVideo, Fireflies

#Tactiq said it's planned, but no timeline.

Tried reaching out to #8x8 for a quote, but they never followed up...

So far, my options are to run #CaptionNinja alongside Jitsi (free), or to embed a Jitsi-as-a-Service meeting iframe on a web page and enable captions (premium).

Inspired by bitsy, I am writing a 8x8 tile/sprite editor widget that works on Angular. The idea is to write several widgets and eventually create my own IDE that runs on the browser and allow people to program cute little games.
