Why #Babka?
I’m #Jewish by descent (both sides, #Ashkenazi & #Sephardic) and am becoming more spiritual as I get older. I was raised in a #Secular/#CryptoJew environment. I grew up with Jewish memes & traditions without understanding any of their importance. Dreidels, Fiddler on the Roof, Passover, and Shel Silverstein are burned into my memories.

Returning to my #almamater today came with a bit of a shock. The building site at the #University of #Konstanz is much bigger than I expected. It seems that most of the 1960s buildings have finally reached the end of their lifespan. But my involuntary detours also took me past the biological collection. #highereducation #infrastructures #fish
