There’s no question that we have tried to put together a group far away from the day to day political debates, of people who may have constituencies but no longer have to get elected.
They are able to discuss things privately and come up with solutions.
It is very undemocratic in a classic sense in that it is elitist.
But it’s not like our group suddenly has superpowers and we can do whatever we want.
All we can do is have the power to suggest.
That’s all we have.
