I don't pay to anyone now, but I feel, if I had spare money, I would think about paying several of them.<br>Or train my own local model(s) for my needs, which I'm also thinking of.</p>

Hab dafür "Deep Research" aktiviert. Aber leider stagnierte er bei der Berechnung von 18 Quellen. Hab dann abgebrochen. Aus Umweltschutzgründen. lianna<p>🇬🇧 Maybe you have seen vagueposting about <a href="https://micro.webgarden.click/tags/wikipedia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Wikipedia</span></a> or the <a href="https://micro.webgarden.click/tags/wikimedia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Wikimedia</span></a> Foundation falling for the <a href="https://micro.webgarden.click/tags/aihype" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AIHype</span></a> and implementing "AI".</p><p>Here's what it's actually about:</p><p><a href="https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Strategy/Multigenerational/Artificial_intelligence_for_editors" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Strategy/Multigenerational/Artificial_intelligence_for_editors</a></p><p>TL;DR: Wikimedia is <strong>not</strong> putting generated content onto Wikipedia.</p><p>They are currently thinking about exploring the idea of maybe in the future providing optional, LLM-assisted tools for moderators and editors to relieve them of repetitive management tasks.</p><p>This might include automated vandalism detection, showing a quality prediction score, or showing what reading level the article is at.</p><p>Nothing has been implemented yet, this is just an exploration of a possible future strategy, and they keep stressing that human-curated knowledge will still be the only content on Wikipedia.</p><p>The only negative option I personally see is that they're thinking about showing an option to auto-translate articles that don't exist in a language yet using LLMs. I think one of the largest advantages of multi-lingual Wikipedia projects is that each language version also shows different content based on what's relevant for each culture; e. g. the German article about "emergency services" will talk at length about the situation in Germany, Austria and Switzerland while the English one is very US- and UK-centric.
