About 10 years ago, I lived 100 meters from this gate in the city of Amersfoort. It was at that time that I discovered the Assassins Creed series, with first Brotherhood. Every time I was waking near the gate, I felt like climbing it. That's #immersion and that makes this game one of the best I ever played. Anyone else had this kind of experiences of keeping playing a game well after turning off the computer? I saw climbable ridge everywhere!

Had my weirdest VR experience ever yesterday.

Got me the app Fly on Meta's black friday sale. Nice App. First flew over a few cities I knew. All nice and cool.

Then I typed "Mount Everest" and was transported there. And immediately was caught by an INTENSE fear of height. This feeling of "this is so wide and I am so high up". Had to take the headset down.

That is immersion

The last stop off was an important get-drunk-before-catching-a-plane at The Golden Tiki where they take tiki culture very seriously. As in they have somehow purloined the old animatronic birds from Disney's Tiki Room and have an authentic David Bowie's shrunken head in the Men's.
