Yeah.. this isn't good. The load average is too much and I've only dedicated 2 cores & 2 threads for this VM.. At least it donated 26.3 GiB (down) and 27.4 GiB (up) for 4 hours.

You know what? Since I have an i3-4170 system that's collecting dust & fur, I might have to "sysadmin" my way into migrating this setup over there.

Google and Apple's oligopoly should be broken, allowing open source systems to be used in their smart devices. It would be welcomed that the current Google religion-confessing smart devices manufacturers would open up the possibility e.g. to use the open #Linux distributions without any difficulty. Situation ATM is not fair what so ever.

I think it's very ergonomic that the app grid shows up when you close all the windows in a workspace.

Advantages:
1. Being able to choose the workspace where I want to go.
2. Be able to choose the app I want to open in that empty workspace.
3. Type to search.

All in the same place.

For the 4 people with Faderport Classic using Bitwig on Linux

I have a Faderport Classic. It's the PERFECT transport device -- small, with only what you need to survive, and fits in my keyboard drawer beside my keyboard and mouse. But alas, it's pretty old-fashioned, and isn't supported in most places. Bitwig has never liked it, even on Windows.

But as of today, it's working with Bitwig on Linux! Here's how to set it up.

Ubuntu: Overcoming Misconceptions and Loving the Experience

Many avoid Ubuntu due to community negativity, but it remains one of the most polished, stable, and well-supported #Linux distros. Your experience shows:
Out-of-the-Box Compatibility – No driver issues, full package support.
Snaps vs. Flatpaks – Snaps worked seamlessly for dev tools like VS Code & Android Studio.
Polished & Smooth – Feels more refined than many other distros.
#Ubuntu hate is often exaggerated—it's great for many users!
