I was telling my dad about #livecoding and he said if I could convert any music to code. So I thought.. wow! it should be possible to train something on strudel and its music output and expect it to be able to do it in reverse as well 
wonder if anything like this exists already
I recorded a short tabla set with an onset detection system to visualize drum hits as a continuous spiral within the time cycle - using p5.js and hydra for visuals, coding melodic sequences in tidal cycles, and using VCV rack as a ghetto spectral flux-based onset detection.
