ACA Signups · Congressional District Enrollment: MarylandOver the past couple of months I've compiled a master spreadsheet breaking out enrollment in ACA plans (Qualified Health Plans & Basic Health Plans), Medicaid/CHIP coverage (both traditional & via ACA expansion) and Medicare (both Fee-for-Services & Advantage) at the Congressional District levels. With the pending dire threat to several of these programs (primarily Medicaid & the ACA) from the House Republican Budget Proposal which recently passed, I'm going a step further and am generating pie charts which visualize just how much of every Congressional District's total population is at risk of losing healthcare coverage. Oh great, the Supreme Court responded to the Trump administration's request to delay Kilmar Abrego Garcia's return and the Supreme Court just ruled today that he doesn't have to be returned yet.

Lawyers in the case have 24hours to submit additional arguments to the SCOTUS.

Also, these reporters need to stop saying people were "mistakenly" deported, absolutely journalist malpractice.

Baltimore City Public Schools (City Schools) has relied on pandemic relief funding provided by the federal government to help our students recover from the significant and lasting effects of the COVID pandemic. Although our detailed spending plans were approved and adhered to all guidelines, the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) recently decided to end the availability of these funds, reneging on their commitment to support students’ ongoing post-pandemic needs.

This abrupt decision significantly impacts school districts nationwide, including City Schools, where we must now make sudden, unwelcome, and painful choices for our schools and students. City Schools will not receive approximately $48 million in reimbursement for funds already spent or contractually committed.
