Looking for #bookstodon recommendations.
Have a 6 year old who after reading the I Am Sonia Sotomayor book has an interest in checking out #NancyDrew. I have Case of the Old Clock and Hidden Staircase out from the library.
Going to try them, but concerned some stuff might be a bit much for her and want to make sure to have books she'll enjoy. She's specifically mentioned #Mystery and characters solving puzzles as interests.
I love puzzle games and I loved reading Nancy Drew growing up. I was todays years old when I found out that there are "a few" Nancy Drew games.
Currently in the process of bullying my friends to play the games with me so we can scream at each other <3

So far, I've dug up the majority of source code on the right monitor that #ND34 trailer was hiding with those misplaced symbols and found some common traits. All is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/nancydrew/comments/1clgwi4/lets_decypher_right_monitor_technology_of_this/
But there are still some things to be done. And if it's a message hidden by the developers that skipped #HerInteractive board, it might be truly interesting! At least, while we can't get more honest response than that. It needs to be decrypted! 
#NancyDrew #MysteryOfTheSevenKeys has received mixed reviews: positive ones claim a big improvement over #MidnightInSalem, negative ones do state how bad everything is going after changes following #ND32 #SeaOfDarkness. So, #outsourcing happens and I don't know what new team even is like anymore. Lack of public playtesting isn't particularly helpful in catering the game to more audiences and without embarassing bugs.

I spent a large portion of last year working on it, and I’m excited to see how all the fans will receive it.
Hoping to catch some of you streamers solve the puzzles, the HeR team really stumped me with some of them!

Speaking of #Prague, there is an upcoming release of the game Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys on May 7. Players can walk in Prague's key places and enjoy point-and-click adventure in the 3D environment. Can't vouch for any accuracy yet, but that's #HerInteractive for you - they love details and stuff! They worked long on it, so I expect a lot of goodies there.

It's a HUGE upgrade, when you compare these cinematics with other ND visual novels. Can't wait to get a feel of the gameplay that they, most likely, improved in accordance to general feedback as well.
There is so much to do in and explore new locations: in 3D, no less! Essentially, you can have a ride to Prague as the detective Nancy Drew in this game and play brain crackers, haha. :blobcattea:

Specs & Settings for the game Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys 
#HerInteractive listened to the feedback and brought the better settings for their new #NancyDrew game. 
The first time you run it, settings should adapt to the hardware, securing a smooth play. If any freezes make their way, you can go lower (assuming one of the options is above low, obviously).

In the new video they show the menu, tiny bit of inventory interface and how Nancy moves around immersively with WASD keys. If it wasn't clear, I'm very excited for the release on May 7!

Это 34-я видеоигра в линейке #NancyDrew от #HerInteractive - Тайна семи ключей. Действие разворачивается в Праге, где вы как частный детектив Нэнси Дрю расследуете дело о хищении драгоценных камней и опрашиваете множество подозреваемых. Любопытно, как они вытянут такой большой каст, но дизайны и освещённые в трейлере повадки персонажей уже не оставляют равнодушными марафонцев и новых игроков, пришедших во вселенную НД.
