Remember how #AlJazeera claimed to be an empathetic, #ProPalestinian news agency? Remember how they viciously attacked Biden for supporting a two-state solution? Remember how they wailed that since Palestinians wanted peace and the two-state solution was "dead," Biden was blocking peace?
Ever stop to think that giving up on the 2-state solution actually meant just handing #Palestine over to #Netanyahu?
#Qatar funds #AlJazeera. The point was always to pull votes from Biden, cozy up to Trump.
Part of how #Netanyahu turned #Israel into a far-right country was by encouraging right-wing Jews from other countries to immigrate there (right to illegal settlements in the West Bank) which was enough to change the demographics of the country. I can’t help but wonder if Trump’s invitation to white South African “refugees” is meant in a similar vein, although it can’t really work the same way.

What genocide?
Israel has formally requested the International Criminal Court (#ICC) to withdraw arrest warrants for #Netanyahu and ex Defence Minister #Gallant, citing the court's lack of jurisdiction and denying war crimes in Gaza. The request, submitted on May 9, 2025, also asks for a suspension of the ICC’s investigation into alleged atrocity crimes in the Palestinian Territories.
The warrants were initially issued on November 21, 2024, and an arrest warrant for Hamas leader Ibrahim al-Masri was withdrawn in February 2025. The ICC's appeals chamber had previously ordered a review of Israel's objections concerning jurisdiction in April 2025.

I don't understand why #AlJazeera is trying hard to frame the deal between the #US and #Hamas as some sort of a blow to #Netanyahu. All I heard about the deal only suggests that #Trump managed to fool #Hamas by getting a concession in exchange for absolutely nothing. Arabs stupidly keep giving these monsters the benefit of the doubt. They keep swallowing the same bait over and over, and now they (Saudi Arabia and its ilk) are going to roll out the red carpet for Trump.
