Lovella Unveils Heartfelt New EP: Our Christmas Prayer
Emerging musical duo Lovella, composed of Josh and Merisa, are spreading holiday cheer with the release of their beautifully crafted EP, Our Christmas Prayer. This collection of timeless Christmas classics showcases the duo’s angelic harmonies and heartfelt interpretations, making it the perfect soundtrack for the holiday season. Reflecting on their journey as artists and partners, Josh and Merisa shared:
“When we got together there was this instantaneous connection that neither one of us expected to find and when we first started hanging out it was like we had been friends for years. We started Lovella a little after we started dating and quickly noticed that becoming a duo went hand in hand with starting a new relationship. We had to build trust, a respect for each other’s creative voices, allow ourselves to be vulnerable, to laugh at ourselves and at each other, to cry, allow each other to be mad and not take it personally and to appreciate how passionate we are about the music we create. Being a duo has had its own set of growing pains but experiencing and navigating these two relationships simultaneously has made both relationships stronger. That is the heart of our music. It is everything we’ve experienced; it is everything our families and friends have experienced.
