With only one VR title having official PS5 Pro support at launch, as while over 80 regular titles are confirmed now, this tells me that PSVR2 really is dead in the eyes of Sony management. They must not have sent pre-launch dev kits to hardly any VR focused studios.

90~120 fps is crucial in VR, so the Pro should be a big benefit there in theory. Patches are coming luckily, just not for a little while…

Just a reminder, if you have an original PS VR headset, Sony is still offering the adapter cable to make the PS4 camera required for it compatible with the PS5 until November 26, 2024. You will need the serial number of the processor box to make a claim. The new camera for PS5 is not compatible with the original headsets.

The fix for the v1 PSVR (earliest model) flashing red lights seems to be ... cleaning up and cutting the factory thermal pad so as to not "short" out the tiny caps on the CPU.

... that was unexpected. This cannot just have happened to ours.

*) likely "just" influencing the capacitance, but still enough to force errors

Do I know anyone getting #PSVR2 and the PC adapter soon? I'm tempted to get it (don't have the headset either yet), would like to try "real" version of VR chat, HL Alyx, etc. I have a Quest 2 but it's PC support isn't amazing and I have a PSVR1 but it's kind of a pain in the ass to use and the camera isn't even set up after a move
