Not sure about display diagonal, but the perfect casing size is ISO A6 (#postcard, 105 mm × 148 mm). Thickness could be ≈ 20..22 mm, weight ideally below 200 g.

PS: My #ebook reader is 165 mm × 114 mm × 10 mm and 185 g. Still OK.

PS²: I can probably live with up to 250 g in my trouser pockets.

We sat by the river for a good hour, and I painted a postcard and watched the muddy river go by, while my nervous system slowly regulated. It took longer than I'd like, to settle in, but the fact that it happened at all was cause for celebration. Slow improvements! I still have lots of hope.
