Is anyone using a genAI prototyping tool that doesn't fall over after 4 prompts? I'm trying to find a way to get a more structured discussion. There is something about using a chatbot that feels vague and prone to misunderstaning.
I'm looking for a tool where I can click on and prompt for specific aspects of the design so ONLY that section changes.

Been driving myself bonkers - designing a miniature thing in my head.
Today had the epiphany that because it needs to be relatively sturdy but not a fully functioning replica of anything - I can just make it out of cardboard and it will still be great.
Huzzah !
Now I just need to master using an exacto/craft knife without slicing myself ...

Wir haben diese Woche ein Projekt aus unserer Reservatenkammer geholt und es endlich umgesetzt: unser Shadow Cap.
Erstmal haben wir uns an die Formgebung getastet und einen tragbaren Prototypen gefertigt.
Wofür der tolle Schatteneffekt da ist, werdet ihr bald erfahren – es bleibt spannend!
Once in a while I am reminded that I also used to design furniture (15 years ago). 
I was looking for my old tools for the clay and found some clay parts of two designs. Glued them back together.
Should I restart my design career? 
Just ordered some parts to prototype an experimental tactile interface for "feeling" visual textures.
I ordered a piezoelectric actuator, some through hole op-amps to drive it, a breadboard, some prototyping wire, some 1/8" prototyping jacks, an assortment of through hole resistors, and a big box of small plastic drawers to organize my parts.
I'm gonna drive the piezoelectric actuator by driving the op-amp with the audio out from my sound card on my PC. I'm planning to prototype a tiny MCU and tiny camera separately.
I'm so excited for this project.

@3dprinting @layers The barrel jack and the USB port fit. The seal around the cold side temperature probe is too loose, and one of the screw holes for the temp/humidity sensor is off by half a millimeter.
I didn't really choose a place for the WiFi antenna. I guess I'll just close the case over it and let it find its own location.
I'm still waiting on the real PCBs.
