Hello i'm just_deli! #introduction
Im a proud #trans #artist and #gamedev :flag_trans:
Currently mostly working on my own #tcg like cardgame! 🎴
I go to conventions with my Art, Stickers, Cards - have my own Clothing Brand and loooove #animation over everything else.
Still drooling over arcane, as most of you probably haha
But i'm big in Gaming, too - mostly into narrative games, like Solar Ash!
The Game i'm developing myself is..also Ortomnia! Yes! The Cardgame is actually just a Spinoff, haha - Ortomnia is a #metroidvania mostly inspired by Hollowknight (which Metroidvania is'nt am i rite?)
Looking forward finding lots of nice and cool and queer people here :)

Aggro decks in #MTGArena or #Hearthstone are completely braindead. It’s literally just "brain off, go face, done. No thinking, no planning, no nuance, just vomit your hand onto the board and hope it sticks. It's the deck of choice for anyone who thinks strategy is optional and that "face is the place" is a viable life philosophy. Honestly, it's like playing on instinct alone, Neanderthal #gaming at its finest.

anyone know of another TCG that as solid of a mechanical foundation as mtg?

one mechanic i think is super underrated is the ability to double-block, i'm a huge fan of when games let you dump all of your resources at once to make a desperate play. It this type of "generally a bad idea, but sometimes will win you the game" type thing that is really satisfying when you pull it off.

mtg has been heading in an iffy direction, but arena has a lot of QoL features that are so far above any other mobile tcg i've tried, like a deck limit of 100 and the ability to import/export decks. additionally, the wildcard system, while not perfect, is more generous than other tcg crafting systems.

the one i'm kinda interested in is Flesh and Blood, but there doesn't seem to be any way to play it online (maybe on cockatrice?)

HeiHei Illuminari,
