Scooter :polyamoryFlag:Some rather extreme <a class="hashtag" href="https://labyrinth.zone/tag/weirdness" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#weirdness</a> happening with the <a class="hashtag" href="https://labyrinth.zone/tag/linux" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#linux</a> system next to me.<br><br>System: Old HP desktop with <a class="hashtag" href="https://labyrinth.zone/tag/ubuntu" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Ubuntu</a> 22.04 and <a class="hashtag" href="https://labyrinth.zone/tag/cinnamon" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Cinnamon</a> (not GNOME)<br><br>Was attempting to run a <a class="hashtag" href="https://labyrinth.zone/tag/libreoffice" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#LibreOffice</a> Calc sheet when it began scrolling uncontrollably to the right. Scrolling is in an irregular fashion; will sometimes stop or slow, but is mostly full speed rightward. System setting windows in Cinnamon, once opened, are also scrolling rightward if they have room to do so. System had been working normally about two hours before.<br><br>Moving windows on the desktop is no longer responsive. Windows may move a bit, but not reliably.<br><br>Changed keyboard and mouse to new, out-of-the-box, wired models. No change. Disconnected mouse entirely. No change. Updated, upgraded, restarted: all no change.<br><br>Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope.<br><br>(Very busy day at work tomorrow, so I may not respond immediately.)
