#WIPWednesday! Updating more character refs before Artfight! Next will be Altair!

Work in progress: third time's the charm (that's how many tries it took), and I think this watercolor of a mamaki plant could work as the main element for a product label I'm designing for a friend's mamaki tea operation.

Now this has to be turned into an actual design, which is something I've never done before. I'm overwhelmed by the options .

But!: a friend of a friend is a retired designer who did exactly this kind of thing: turning a piece of art into a full design. Maybe he might be interested in this job. I would definitely pay to have a professional make a proper design instead of agonizing over it and stumbling around myself.

A crazy morning working on Beta Max, the sequel to Alpha Max. Still, I had lots of fun learning about mid-to-late Jurassic geography and biosphere, species of dinosaurs alive then, the impossibility of time travel and what might happen when a cutting laser intersects with a Torvosaur's flesh.

A #crochet #wip for two years: #beehive throw requested by a family member.

I have a real love / hate relationship with #GrannySquares and that is why this has sat in my "To Do" bin unassembled.

All that is left is to crochet a few bees and attach. But, that will have to wait until Gracie's nap is over.

Progress update on the Sororitas Rhino. Sadly my base layers are not taking too well and I lost a few pieces off the front from my last game and I can’t find them. Might have to get creative here.
