LukHash's new album "Home Arcade" can now be pre-ordered and customers will also receive 'retro versions' of three tracks from the album: two covers in the form of SID tunes, one as a classic Amiga MOD, all three songs can be played on the original hardware. The finished album will be released on 2 May.

My friend Noremi, a Korean American artist, released their first album after graduating college and essentially quitting music for five years. Their music is so gorgeous and I always looked forward to when they'd drop an impromptu release of a live performance.

The album is called "i am very young and i am learning how to live"

It would mean a lot to me if you checked it out, and I think people on here might be the type to enjoy it. This is an album to let you know that you're not alone, and an album to tell others that they're not alone!!

I've been wondering: Where does the expression “dropping an album" actually come from?

I have to admit that I take exception to this particular figure of speech.

I don't “drop an album”.

When I release an #album, I (usually) put work and heart and soul into it. It's precious to me and it sure as f is not something I simply "drop" and I also don't want it treated like something I "dropped" (though sadly that's what often happens).

Maybe I'm overreacting but My. Albums. Don't. Get. Dropped.
