I have been upgrading my #Commodore #Amiga1200 with a #PiStorm32Lite and everything went swimmingly until I started installing software. Some software had corrupted my #AmigaOS because the iBrowse browser crashed at startup. After 2 days of hair pulling and swearing, I found through #SnoopDos it was a corrupt Times font size 13 that hindered my OS. Being foiled by a font, now that is #Retro #Computing

Since I couldn't figure out what happened and how to repair the FFS directory structure, and re-transferred the #AmigaOS 3.2 system I normally use in UAE.
The problem never reappeared, so perhaps it was just FFS being prone to corruption when writes are interrupted by a crash. And this #Amiga was rebooted numerous times while I was chasing the remaining hardware and software stability issues.

I heard at AmiWest that development of #AmigaOS 3.3 is quietly continuing, but it's unlikely that new releases will happen while there's legal uncertainty on the fate of Hyperion.
After Hyperion Entertainment initially continued to be managed by a court-appointed administrator, the current register entry at the title link now lists Timothy De Groote again as director of the company. Anyway insolvency lawyer Bart De Moor remains responsible for Hyperion as the court-appointed liquidator:

Real 3D, one of the first solid modelers featuring constructive geometry, boolean operations and smooth surfaces, also debuted on the #Amiga.
Real 3D was very advanced for its time, but also harder to learn. I never went beyond modeling simple shapes with it, but I had an older friend who was using Real 3D for architecture.
