Love this double villa on Lorraine Road in the West End of Glasgow. It was designed by David Barclay and was built in 1899.

I think Salmon, Son and Ritchie's imposing 1860s Instititue for the Deaf and Dumb on Prospecthill Road is probably my favourite Gothic style building on Glasgow's Southside.
Looking up in the City of #London - a single snap but with a lot of editing. This approach is often called #fineartarchitecture but I don't think an edit style should ever be mistaken for art.

The original residents were Thomas Sawers, a fishmonger, poulterer and ice merchant (in the house on the left), and John MacDonald, a tobacco and snuff manufacturer (in the one of the right).
Love this Scottish Baronial style double villa on Buckingham Street in the West End of Glasgow. Built in 1886, they were designed by the wonderfully named Horatio Kelson Bromhead (no relation to the equally wonderfully named Gonville Bromhead of Rorke's Drift fame).

A modern gushet tenement at the junction between Argyle Street and Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow. As newer buildings go, I think this is quite a good one as it maintains the roofline with its neighbouring older tenements, it manages to avoid the boxy feel you get with way too many new-builds, and it has features such as a corner tower and bay windows which are in keeping with Glaswegian architectural traditions.
