Seit langem haben wir nicht in den Spiegel geschaut
Haben vergessen, wie wir aussehen
Hatten keine Zeit darüber nachzudenken
Haben nicht bemerkt, wie wir geworden sind.

Offensichtlich haben sie seit langem nicht in den Spiegel geschaut
Sonst würden sie merken, wie sie sind
Sonst würden sie sich selbst nicht im Spiegel sehen wollen
Sie würden etwas dagegen unternehmen, damit sie sind, wie sie sein sollen
Damit sie nicht so bleiben, wie sie nun geworden sind.

Aber wozu? Für wen? Für sich, für uns?
Für nichts. Für niemanden.

Wir möchten sein
Die Zeit möchte vergehen
Das kann doch nicht so schwer sein.
