Es war mehr eine Ahnung als eine Gewissheit, dass es sich bei dem kleinen, unauffällig gefärbten Vogel, den ich so ab und zu dachte, vorbeihuschen zu sehen, um einen Zilpzalp handeln könnte.
Nun gelang ein erster, wenn auch suboptimaler fotografischer Beweis.
Willkommen, du Winzling!

Ein Zilpzalp oder Weidenlaubsänger, von der Rückseite fotografiert, im Geäst eines Strauches mit sowohl dunkelroten alsauch hellgrünen, geribbelten Blättern. Der kleine Vogel blickt nach rechts, so dass Profil und der gelbliche Überaugenstreif gut zu sehen sind.

We did get out this weekend, we visited the nature reserve on the Holkham Estate, North Norfolk coast.

There were Chiffchaffs singing everywhere!

There is a brief window of opportunity to get photos, between their arrival and when trees are all in leaf.

A small brown bird with dark legs and a narrow pointed beak perches on a branch of a leaflet tree. The bird is a Chiffchaff, a warbler with a very characteristic song from which its name derives.

NABU - Naturschutzbund Deutschland e.V.Vogelporträt: Zilpzalp - NABUDen Zilpzalp hört man im Frühjahr und Sommer fast überall, in Mitteleuropa ist er einer der am weitesten verbreiteten Laubsänger. Er brütet in Wäldern aber auch in naturnahen Gärten und Parks. Seinen Namen verdankt er dem eingängigen und monotonen Gesang, der tatsächlich wie „zilp zalp zilp zalp“ klingt. Sein Äußeres ist eher unscheinbar braunoliv, und mit dem gelben Überaugenstreif sieht er dem Fitis zum verwechseln ähnlich, bei dem dieser allerdings deutlich stärker ausgeprägt ist.

Eigentlich bin ich nur durch Zufall auf Gouache gestoßen. Ein digitaler Pinsel meiner Mal-App heißt so und ich nehm ihn gerne. Weil ich neugierig bin, hab ich mich schlau gemacht und auch gleich ein paar Farben gekauft.
