I'm analyzing the file based on transients, sorting the segments according to loudness (Y axis) and average frequency of the spectrum (X axis), then playing through those segments using those groupings
Max 9 by Cycling '74 is here and it supports “Ableton Audio Objects”. Plus, Max 8 introduced game controller interactions. Almost feels like Ableton / Max could soon make a #gameaudio product.

I've solved many problems using #MaxMsp. As result, I have produced a lot of unique little patches, systems and code snippets. Aleks.max is my tiny and ever-growing library of these self-contained Max abstractions. It's an effort to clean up and publish some of my code that I believe can be useful to others. Currently, the bundle includes objects for data processing, realtime multi-channel audio, and video analysis.
