"It's Back To Hogwarts Day" teableau for 09/01/24
HP provided a bonding experience between my nephew & me as he grew up in another country across a continent. The books were our bridge, and Sept 1st is a banner day for us.
So, who's up for some custom vinyl decals? Great for cars, water bottles, laptops, your new iPad
Practicing with multiple color registration right now, but mono is definitely good to go!
TIL making the mailbox #decals:
- reverse weeding preserves integrity of the vinyl
- using a light table makes weeding easier
I donated my light box during the move because it’s something fairly cheap and easily replaced.
OMG light boxes are now light pads and I can’t wait for delivery. They are TONS of manufacturers. I got one with 3 colors, continuous dim, 6mm thick, rechargeable, edge cover, silicon non skid, A3 (12”x16”) for $26
It’s done. The project that almost broke me
3 sets of artwork before it felt right.
My last boost reminded me that I've been meaning to ask...I wanna see what you've stickered! Laptop, journal, car, whatever. I am a perpetual child at heart who loves stickers!
I have more real estate to fill on my laptop but I'm getting there.
One of the things I love about Bangkok and all of Thailand is their love of stickers and decals. So many cool ones, all over the place! I saw this one while finding a public little boy's room lol #anime #cartoon #cartooning #cartoons #illustration #decal #decals #art #arts #artist #travel #thailand #bangkok #traveling #traveler #travelers #travels #inspiration #manga #artnet #artlover #artlovers #stickers #sticker #auto #autos #truck #trucks

Working on "static" decals, projected onto mesh's at edit time. Working, but I currently can only scale uniformly... will have to break out my math textbook to figure out what I need to do for individual axis scaling.
