I know some folks going to demonstrations today, I have to work, I found some stuff that kinda speaks to that.

Mostly people are trying to live their lives despite what we mostly agree is an Earth Emergency and a demonstrably sick system. I have to keep going to work for now. I'm ready for big change, not little change. We live, frustrated, with a potential or a possibility.

Societal discontent rises in Russia after Ukraine’s Kursk incursion, ISW says

According to polls cited by the ISW, “outrage or dissatisfaction” with Russian authorities has risen from 18% of respondents on July 12, to 28% on Aug. 25, the highest levels seen since the hugely unpopular mobilization in November of 2022.

Drop in Putin’s approval rating of 3.5% to 73.6%, a record drop since the start of the invasion.
