The Sunday crew decided to pause our #elementalApocalypse #Dnd5e game and test drive the new 2024 edition for a few sessions.
We’re big #Greyhawk fans, so we’re using the setting material from the #DMG and heading to the Ciry of Greyhawk.
Get out your bell bottoms and get ready to disco - we’re heading back to the 70s! (common year 570s that is … )
Putting together an NPC for tonight's adventure, and I see that laser pistols are now a thing in the 2024 version of #DungeonsAndDragons
(which I'm assuming comes in as optional rules in the #DMG ... my copy doesn't arrive until later in the week).

Does anyone understand this line from the new 2024 #dmg about the frequency of bastion turns? One of the examples given says:
“The characters spend 7 days or more in their Bastions between adventures. You might say, ‘You have six weeks to spend in your Bastions. Go ahead and resolve six Bastion turns.’”
I don’t understand how they go from 7 days to 6 weeks of Bastion turns. Is this a typo, or am I missing something? Does anyone get it? #dnd #dnd2024
