JörgiSometimes it happens, that some pictures i did, are not saved on my Android device. Pictures before and later have been saved, but some are missing. This happened today on my <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/fairphone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#fairphone</a> 5, but i had this issue also before on other phones. No idea why. The battery was really low (~7%} but pictures i took later, were still saved. Does anyone know this problem? I've been pleased with it during the years I've had it, and I have no plans to replace it until the software updates stop coming. The phone is still fast and responsive, and it holds on to a mobile signal better than my previous phone.I like the fact that I can affordably change the battery when I need to. I like the fact that, when Mrs Wife dropped her Fairphone4 down the toilet, I was able to open it up and dry it out and then it worked perfectly.My only reservation is the camera, which isn't top-notch, but I see that the <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Fairphone5" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Fairphone5</a> has a 50MP camera. Check the reviews and see what you think. Or maybe an FP5 owner will join this thread.

The Fairphone5 sound is terrible muffled, high frequencies are missing at all. I send the recordings + Frequencyanalysis to Support. Support ask me to send in the Fairphone (but I need it everyday for work+private, and I wonder if they can fix this... ) Maybe bad sound comes from the used encoder, hopefully not from a bad hardware (microphone)."I would exchange the Mainboard, but guess what? I had to drop Revolut for Bunq as Revolut app is broken on Murena. I miss Android Auto and Digital Wellbeing apps. All Irish apps I use for banking, utilities, shopping etc are working fine. Dem ist aber leider nicht so. Folgende Apps finde ich unnötig für eine feste Vorinstallation: - Arbeitsprofil - Chromium - eSpeak - Kalender - Musik - RekorderDiese Apps habe ich nun deaktiviert. Da man bei der Ersteinrichtung sowohl FDroid als auch Aurora Store bekommt, frag ich mich echt, warum diese Apps hier vorinstalliert sind. Falls man sie brauchen sollte, könnte man sie sicherlich nachinstallieren oder bei der Ersteinrichtung optional auswählen. Kostet dann irgendwann wieder Zeit, die über Umwege vom Handy zu werfen. Etwas ärgerlich ist das ja schon....

Es läd gerade noch, um bei den bald folgenden Änderungen hin zu CalyxOS vollen Akku zu haben. Ich habe mit einer Anleitung für ein Umgehen der Aktivierung der Google Dienste schon mal die Einrichtung abgeschlossen und mir das mal angesehen. Wirklich ein tolles Handy, so vom Aussehen und von der Haptik her. Display ist auch ok (finde nicht, dass es zu schwach ist, habe das als Kritikpunkt immer wieder gelesen). Aber: Abzüglich der paar wenigen essentiellen Apps zum Telefonieren usw ist wirklich alles voll mit Google Apps. Insgesamt 31 Apps, wenn man die wenigen essentiellen dann abzieht, sind es wohl bestimmt 25 Apps direkt von Google. Das ist echt mega viel und echt kacke. !! Frage: Falls noch irgendwer wichtige Tipps hat, damit das Installieren von CalyxOS gut verläuft, bitte jetzt! Spezielle Frage zum <a href="https://todon.eu/tags/Bootloader" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Bootloader</a>: Habe gelesen, dass man am Ende den Bootloader nicht schließen muss, um später nochmal ein anderes OS aufspielen zu können. Stimmt das so? Oder ist das nicht so gut?
