The more I look into something like #Snap from Canonical, the less I like it. I am old school, but that isn't the reason. I understand the idea behind global type packages like #Flatpak, #AppImages, and even #Snap. I just hate the way Canonical has gone so heavy-handed on it, pirating apt cmds, and closed off the back-end. Just seems to be anti-FOSS. I no others disagree and that is fine. Just my personal take.

@romanbuchta Install a regular package instead. I'm on #Tumbleweed and certain #Flatpak apps keep misbehaving, while their regular counterparts work fine.

Personally, the extra weight from #flatpak installs is worth it if you consider easy installations and the security benefits of sandboxing your apps.

📚️ DOSBox-X is a fork of DOSBox, a libre, multiplatform DOS emulator. It focuses on more precise emulation of DOS and its hardware environment, and adds support for Windows 9x (Windows 3.x, 95, 98, ME). The aim is to provide complete, accurate emulation covering all pre-2000 hardware scenarios. This allows retro-programming with the certainty that the program will run on real hardware. In particular, it offers internationalization (such as the French keyboard), and by supporting the mouse, it allows numerous parameter settings without leaving its interface, such as disk mounting, system configuration (such as emulation speed or emulated sound hardware), and even state saving.
