It grows on almost every continent. Very cold & drought resistant. Known as an excellent pioneer plant to rewild disturbed grounds. #PioneerPlants are plants that are often used to start many #rewilding efforts in areas where the soil isn't great & has suffered damages. It doesn't do too well in full shade. Very #ColdResistant & #DroughtResistant, once established - it's been found in mountain elevations to desert environments.

A good choice for a #ClimateActionGarden.

The seeds are edible & can be ground up into flour but they're too small for the effort. It's mainly used as animal #fodder & it attracts lots of #pollinators
