Tonight (3/26/25 at 6pm EDT), I'm going to make a few different examples of how to create a kinetic wind sculpture. I'm referencing a video that my co-worker sent me. I'm going to try to make a few versions: purely procedural, driven by a pyro sim, and possibly a dynamic version.

Been heads down working on #gamedev, mostly modelling set dressing for a "freight elevator" and other little things. Last few days though, been working on getting fluids to loop in #houdini then bring them into #unrealengine

Ergh it's taking about 20 seconds a frame to calculate some vdb morphing stuff... and I have a 140 frame loop >.>

I almost gave up on it because it got pretty hardcore with the concepts
but im glad I stuck with it, here is what I made

OMG, I'm working on a Houdini render, and I accidentally set the template flag instead of the render flag, and then spent the next hour trying to figure out why my render wasn't looking right.
